India bars Sikh pilgrims from visiting Pakistan
The Yatrees were scheduled to take part in their religious Saka Festival at Gurdwara Janamasthan
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Indian authorities on Thursday have barred over one thousand Sikh Yatrees from visiting Pakistan through Wagha Border.
According to spokesman of Evacuee Trust Property Board, the Yatrees were scheduled to take part in their religious Saka Festival at Gurdwara Janamasthan at Nankana Sahib on February 21, for which all the arrangements have already been finalized.
The spokesman said that Sikh community members will stage a protest at Gurdwara Dera Sahib in Lahore this afternoon against Indian government for not allowing the pilgrims to visit Pakistan.
