Anything can happen during Senate elections: Saleem Mandviwalla
Saleem Mandviwalla predicted that Yousaf Raza Gillani may win the Senate polls.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Deputy Chairman Senate Saleem Mandviwalla on Thursday has said that Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has not raised any objection over the participation of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader and Pakistan Democratic Movement‘s (PDM) joint candidate Yousaf Raza Gillani in Senate elections.
While talking to media, the deputy chairman Senate said that anything can be happened during the polls in the upper house of the Parliament. There is a minor difference in the numbers of government and opposition, he told.
Saleem Mandviwalla predicted that Yousaf Raza Gillani may win the Senate polls.
He further warned National Accountability Bureau (NAB) not to harass the private people.
