Political dialogue is the only way to achieve peace in Afghanistan: PM Imran Khan
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that his visit to Afghanistan was yet another step in conveying Pakistan’s commitment to peace in the neighboring country. He reiterated that lasting peace in Afghanistan is only possible through meaningful political dialogue.
The PM said in his tweets on Friday that he has never believed in military solutions, based on which he was always for achieving peace in Afghanistan through political dialogue.
He said that after the Afghans, Pakistan has the largest stake in Afghan peace as it will lay the path of connectivity and trade between the two countries, bringing prosperity to both people.
Imran Khan said that the people living in Pakistan’s tribal areas, who suffered a great deal due to the Afghan war, will reap the most benefits from resumption of peace and trade between the two countries.
