ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry has said that we will compete with India in the next electric vehicle and within the next two to three years we will make it a success in Pakistan and Asia.
Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, he said that instead of selling potatoes and carrots, we have to follow modern technology. The use of science and technology is essential to move the country on the path of development.

Fawad Chaudhry said that electric vehicle policy was introduced for the first time in the country, now the manufacturing of electric buses will also be done in Pakistan. The Federal Minister said that public transport in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad would be shifted to electric technology. In the next six months, the facility of charging electric vehicles will be available on motorways.
