CM Buzdar directs authorities to prepare special plan in advance for Eidul Azha
CM Buzdar clarified that there would be no compromise on SOPs
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar on Wednesday while directing the concerned departments to prepare a special plan in advance for Eidul Azha and said that violations like Eidul Fitr would not be tolerated.
The chief minister has issued instructions to prepare SOPs and strategies for Eidul Azha in which it has been said that safe procedure has to be formulated for the purchase of sacrificial animals.
He directed that the private sector be encouraged to trade sacrificial animals online and special measures should be taken in view of Coronavirus concerns the in cattle markets.
Giving strict instructions, Buzdar clarified that there would be no compromise on SOPs, adding that all concerned agencies must send suggestions about SOPs regarding Eidul Azha.
“The livestock department, local government department and administrative agencies should come up with a joint plan in this regard,” he added.
