Coronavirus: Guests barred from entering all NAB offices

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Justice (Retd) Javed Iqbal has instructed to ensure implementation of SOPs and said that cases should not be dismissed on absence of prosecutors.

According to details, in an important meeting presided by Chairman NAB, the entry of guests in all NAB offices has been prohibited to help stop the spread of coronavirus.

Chairman NAB has directed that all officers should ensure attendance in all offices from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. It has also been decided to stop the official transport of NAB officers due to corona virus.

A statement issued after the meeting said that the prosecutors have been directed to ensure implementation of Coronavirus SOPs as well as attendance in the courts to pursue NAB cases.

The statement has also exempted NAB staff from biometric attendance. In addition, NAB officers will not be allowed to visit public places while NAB officers over the age of 50 will only be called for essential work.
