Rain, strong winds turn weather pleasant in Lahore, other cities
LAHORE (Dunya News) - The weather has become pleasant with rain and strong winds in many cities including Lahore. More rain is expected in parts of Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtun khwa and Balochistan. The temperature in Srinagar was 17 degrees while in Jammu it was 26 degrees.
In Karachi weather became very pleasant after rain and winds of up to 8 nautical miles. Strong winds and rain dropped the mercury further in Lahore. Mirpur Azad Kashmir also received heavy rains while hailstorm lashed Wazirabad, Sharqpur Sharif and Barkhan.
The meteorological department has forecast winds and more rains in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Balochistan and Islamabad during the next 24 hours.
Srinagar also received light rain on Sunday, leaving the mercury at 17 degrees Celsius. Jammu recorded 26 degrees, Anantnag and Baramulla recorded 17 degrees.
