NCOC issues SOPs for businesses to curb spread of Coronavirus
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Federal Minister Asad Umar has said that shopkeepers should follow the "No Mask No Service" policy, if someone does not wear a mask, nothing should be sold to him.
A meeting of the National Command and Operations Center was held under the chairmanship of Federal Minister Asad Umar in which the Minister of Interior, Food Security and Economic Affairs were present while Special Assistant Dr. Zafar Mirza and Dr. Moeed Yousaf were also present.
The meeting formulated suggestions and recommendations for Monday s meeting of the National Coordinating Committee (NCC). Planning Minister Asad Umar said that trader’s organizations should ensure implementation of SOPs for business and adhere to the policy of "No Mask No Service", meaning that goods should not be sold to customers who do not wear masks.
The meeting directed to provide the latest statistics regarding the availability of beds and other facilities. It was also decided to implement resource management system across the country from Monday. The Ministry of Health is mobilizing final year medical students, young doctors and house job doctors. The meeting called for community mobilization in the provinces and setting up of call centers by June 15.
