People like Imran Khan make history: Navjot Singh Sidhu
Sidhu said that PM Imran has conquered the hearts of the Sikh nation.
KARTARPUR (Dunya News) - Former Indian cricketer-turned-politician Navjot Singh Sidhu paid tribute to Prime Minister Imran Khan and said that people like him make history.
Navjot Singh Sadhu, while addressing at the inauguration ceremony, expressed, “Imran Khan has no idea how high the Sikh nation will regard him as he has done a favor to us with Kartarpur transit.” He praised PM Imran saying that people like him rule the hearts of the people and he has conquered the hearts of the Sikh community.
Congress leader Sidhu asserted that more than four generations of Sikhs have been trying to visit its father’s home. “No one has ever heard the Sikh community in 72 years, and the obstacles between India and Pakistan has reduced today”, he expressed adding that PM Imran has heard the voices of 140 million Sikhs.
He went on to say that the Sikh nation will now act as PM Imran Khan’s mouthpiece in the world. Sidhu expressed that PM Imran took the bold step to build the Kartarpur Corridor without looking at profits or losses.

Earlier, the Indian government stopped Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu from entering Pakistan through Wagah border despite having a five-day visa, Dunya News reported.
According to details, the cricketer-turned-politician was stopped by the Indian authorities in Attari. Subsequently, Navjot Singh Sidhu reached the Gurdwara Darbar Sahib Kartarpur through the Kartarpur Corridor with the rest of the Sikh community.
On the other hand, the delegation that had arrived at the Wagah border to welcome the Indian leader also went back. It is pertinent here to mention that the Indian officials had ensured Navjot Sidhu on Friday that he will be allowed to enter Pakistan via Wagah.
