Maulana Fazlur Rehman vowed to topple the incumbent government at the Azadi March.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman on Saturday said that writ of the incumbent government has ended and now "we will run the country".

Addressing the participants of the Azadi March, he supported the demand of Rehbar Committee regarding Prime Minister Imran Khan’s resignation, and told the PTI-led ruling regime to step down calling the premier ‘unconstitutional and fake’.

JUI-F chief refuted the government’s claims saying that all the roads to dialogue are blocked, and they will now take more ground decisions until they get rid of the incumbent government. “Movement is the name of constant struggle”, he said adding that they do not want to worsen the situation.

Meanwhile, Maulana Fazlur Rehman strongly criticized the economic policy of the government saying that the inflation is on the rise whereas the poor have been buried under the burden of debt. “Government in its first year borrowed more money than all previous governments collectively borrowed during the last 70 years”, he added.

He continued saying, “Poor people in Pakistan are unable to purchase ration for their children", adding that Pakistan under the PTI-led government will further move down with each passing day.

Addressing the participants of the sit-in on its second day, JUI-F chief said that Indian PM Narendra Modi is oppressing Kashmiris because of Imran Khan. He further said that the problem of Kashmir has been complicated by the failed foreign policy. “China is disappointed, India is your enemy, various countries including Iran and Afghanistan are angry with Pakistan due to unsuccessful foreign policies”, he added.

Maulana refuting the rumors about conflict between opposition parties and expressed that all the opposition parties are in contact to topple the incumbent government.
