PM Imran bars party workers from commenting on Nawaz Sharif's health
Nawaz Sharif will be given the best medical facilities in Pakistan, said PM Imran Khan.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Prime Minister Imran Khan today (Oct. 24) – notwithstanding political differences – extended his sincere prayers for the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif’s heath and barred his party workers from commenting on it.
According to Dunya News sources, the meeting chaired by PM Imran also mentioned the health of Nawaz Sharif. Imran Khan has said that treatment for Nawaz Sharif’s illness is available in Pakistan. “He will be given the best medical facilities in Pakistan”, he expressed adding that the decision of the court regarding Nawaz Sharif will be accepted.
According to sources, during the meeting, PM Imran Khan directed his party spokespersons not to comment on Nawaz Sharif’s health.
Earlier, the premier took to twitter and said he has directed all concerned authorities to ensure provision of the best possible health care and medical treatment to Nawaz Sharif.

It is worth mentioning here that the health condition of the former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has deteriorated once again as his platelet count significantly dropped to less than 7,000 yesterday.
PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif’s platelet count recovered to 29,000 a day before after doctors had transfused four mega units of platelets into him in Lahore’s Services hospital. The doctors had earlier claimed that Sharif’s health was satisfactory but later his platelets dropped again.
A medical board was briefed that health condition of Nawaz Sharif was critical and expert doctors were called from Islamabad.
On Monday night, Sharif was rushed to the hospital after his platelets had dropped to a dangerously low level with his doctors raising alarming concerns.
