Chaudhry brothers pay tribute to armed forces for effective response to ceasefire violations
They demanded the international community to take action against Modi govt over ceasefire violations
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Speaker Punjab Assembly Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi and Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) chief Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain on Sunday paid rich tribute to Pakistan armed forces for "effectively responded" to the latest Indian ceasefire violations along the Line of Control (LoC).
In a statement issued on Sunday, the Chaudhry brothers said that Pakistan Army’s response to Indian ceasefire violations has reminded February 27 action.
They said that Indian government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi does not understand the language of nobility.
Chaudhry brothers further paid tribute to the civilians and armed forces soldiers and families of those martyred along the LoC in Indian ceasefire violation.
They demanded the international community to take action against Modi government over ceasefire violations.
Earlier, nine soldiers of the Indian army were killed and many others injured when Pakistan Army troops "effectively responded" to the latest Indian ceasefire violations, deliberately targeting civilians, in Jura, Shahkot and Nousehri sectors along the Line of Control, the director general of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.
ISPR Major General Asif Ghafoor stated that a soldier of Pakistan Army and three civilians embraced martyrdom, while two soldiers and five civilians sustained injuries in an exchange of fire. Later, in another tweet, he mentioned that the civilian casualties rose to five.
Two bunkers of the Indian army were also destroyed in firing by Pakistani troops.
