Heavy rain, gusty winds lash Lahore
Met office has predicted more rains in different parts of the country during next 24 hours.
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Heavy rain accompanied by gusty winds lashed Lahore and its adjacent areas in the wee hours of Saturday and turned the weather pleasent, Dunya News reported.
Rain in Lahore inundated low-lying areas where roads were submerged under rains water while several neighbourhoods in most areas of the city remained without electricity due to tripping of electricity feeders.
Rain was also reported from other parts of the country including Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Narowal and Kot Momin.
According to Pakistan Meteorological Department, widespread dust-thundershower/rain (with few heavy falls) accompanied by gusty winds is expected in, Hazara, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore divisions and Islamabad and Kashmir while at scattered places in Malakand, Mardan, Kohat, Peshawar, D.I khan, Bannu, Sargodha, Faisalabad divisions during next 24 hours.
