PPP expresses reservation over NA-205 Ghotki by-election
Bilawal said that efforts are being made to disqualify the PPP candidate from NA-205 constituency.
SUKKUR (Dunya News) - Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has expressed strong reservation over by-election in National Assembly constituency NA-205 Ghotki, Dunya News reported.
Addressing a press conference in Sukkur on Friday, chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that his party in a letter to Chief Justice of Pakistan has informed him that efforts are being made to disqualify the PPP candidate from NA-205 constituency.
Bilawal Bhutto said that as a political party, it is our right to take part in free and fair election, therefore, we have appealed to the superior court to make justice and allow our candidate to contest elections.
Bilawal Bhutto further said that we want free and fair election in NA-205 constituency and added that the PPP is positive about winning the by-polls in Ghotki.
He said that we are being pressurized and every effort is being made to disqualify the PPP candidate. He said that our opponents only want “selection” and are not interested in election.
