Astore: Valiant woman polio worker serves regardless of inclement weather
The polio workers of Pakistan are considered as the real heroes of the country
(Web-Desk) – Pakistan is marked as one of the three remaining countries on the world map continuing with the fight against epidemic viral disease Poliomyelitis. The polio workers of Pakistan are considered as the real heroes as they confront all odds coming their way to fulfill the responsibility of saving the future of the country from polio through vaccination.
These heroic stories associated to polio workers of Pakistan have been making way to social media and a recent example for that is a woman polio worker from Astore, Gilgit Baltistan who voluntarily managed to walk through the cumbersome carpet of snow in order to perform her duty to provide polio vaccination in the region.
We happened to come across the same sort of example from the near past when a polio worker from Swat struggled through the snow in order to continue with an unobstructed polio vaccination campaign.

The video gone viral on the internet in a way that Prime Minister Imran Khan posted a special message on Twitter to accolade the polio worker for his sense of responsibility in terms of fulfillment of the job regardless of the weather conditions. He invited him personally to Prime Minister House and acknowledged his efforts in a rich memorable manner while advising him to stick to the same level of passion for service till the eradication of polio from Pakistan.
But being a woman, it was something even more commendable as walking through the snow isn’t an easy deal. When the focus is to serve humanity by all means then there is nothing to hinder the efforts towards the mission. The people of the nation have greatly commended the lady for his sincere efforts in terms of polio elimination campaign.

We salute to all polio workers who have been striving to achieve the goal of polio free Pakistan as they are the future savers of the country. A day will come when every single child will be living blithe life in polio free Pakistan.
