Summary Mullen says tense relations between Pakistan and United States will be dangerous for the region.
US Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee Chairman Mike Mullen discussed terrorism and bilateral relations with chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Khalid Shamim Wynne on Monday.Earlier talking to the media in Kabul, Mike Mullen said that the currently relations between Pakistan and the United States were passing through a difficult phase, but both the countries were looking to establish strong relations.He said that tense relations between Pakistan and the United States would be dangerous for the entire region.Mullen said that despite the tensions, the US cannot terminate relations with Pakistan. He said that the US would continue military training for the Pakistani troops. Mullen said he would also meet with the Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Kayani.
