Summary A three-member Supreme Court bench headed by the Chief Justice will hear the petition.
The hearing for a petition filed by Mubashir Luqman, in the Supreme Court challenging the incomplete election commission, will be held today. The petitioner states that after the 18th and the 19th amendment, the government according to the constitution, has failed to form an election commission.After the filing of the petition, the court issued notices to the parties and demanded a written reply by the federal government.The hearing will be held under a three-member Supreme Court bench headed by the Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry. The same bench will also hear the petition against the bogus voters in the election voters’ list, filed by Tehrik e Insaaf chief Imran Khan.
