PM Imran directs to strengthen links with media
PM said media should be informed about the ongoing projects regarding welfare of masses.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan on Sunday presided over a meeting of the media strategic committee and directed to strengthen links with the media.
Addressing the meeting, the prime minister said that the media should be apprised about the ongoing projects regarding welfare of masses, while also defend the government in media efficiently.
The meeting was attended by Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar, Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Political Affairs Naeemul Haq, Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Media Iftikhar Durrani, Punjab Minister for Information and Culture Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chohan, PTI leader Samsam Bukhari, Ayesha Chaudhry, Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Media Yousaf Baig Mirza, Ijaz Chaudhry, Umer Sarfraz Cheema and Zulfi Bukhari.
Punjab Minister for Information and Culture Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chohan briefed the prime minister about media strategy of the provincial government.
