Fawad terms opposition meeting 'alliance for restoration of corruption'
NAB has not yet arrested Asif Ali Zardari and Faryal Talpur
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry on Tuesday declared opposition’s alliance against government “alliance for restoration of corruption” and said that whenever they are asked about money, they say that democracy and 18th amendment is in danger.
Talking to media in Karachi on Tuesday, he said that the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has not yet arrested former president and Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari and his sister Faryal Talpur.
Chaudhry went on to say that he said that so far, the anti-graft watchdog’s pace performance is slow.
The minister said that the investigation should be taken forward after arresting Asif Zardari and Faryal Talpur.
