Light rain in Lahore turns weather cold
Different parts of Lahore and its adjacent areas received light rain on Thursday night.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Light rain in different parts of Lahore and its adjacent areas on Thursday night turned the weather cold, Dunya News reported.
Rain was also reported from the other cities of Punjab including, Faisalabad, Sheikhupura, Muredke, Okara, Jhang, Sargodha, Bhalwal, Chiniot and Bahawalpur.
According to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), a westerly wave is affecting western and upper parts of the country and likely to grip different parts of the country on Friday and Saturday.
The Met Office said rain, with snowfall over the hills, is expected at scattered places in Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Kohat, Mardan, Sargodha, Gujranwala, Faislabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore divisions, Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir, while at isolated places in Bannu, D.I khan, D.G.Khan, Multan, Bahawalpur, Sahiwal and Sukkur divisions during next 24 hours.
