Rain in parts of country turns weather cold
Rain in different parts of the country, including Karachi and Lahore, turned the weather cold.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Rain in different parts of the country, including Karachi and Lahore, on Sunday turned the weather cold, Dunya News reported.
Light rain was also reported from Sheikhupura, Shah Kot, Mian Channu, Sangla Hill, Mardan and other parts of the country which brought the mercury further down.
According to Met Office, rain-thunderstorm with snow over the hills is expected at scattered places in Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Lahore, Faislabad divisions, Malakand, Hazara, Mardan, Peshawar, Kohat divisions, Islamabad, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, while at isolated places in Quetta, Zhob, Sukkur, Bannu, D.I khan, Multan, D.G.Khan, Bahawalpur and Sahiwal divisions during the next 24 hours.
Snowfall over the hills is also expected during the next 24 hours in Malakand. Swat, Chitral, Kalam Malamjabba, upper Dir, Hazara division, Murree, Galliyat, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
