Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor went on to say that no one should have doubt on Pakistans defence capabilities

RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Major General Asif Ghafoor on Thursday said that government and army have strategic level relations and it is the nation that expresses confidence in the government and not the army.

During an informal talk with media after addressing a press conference in Rawalpindi on Thursday, Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor said that Pakistan is a reliable and responsible nuclear state, adding that India should itself become secular country and then talk about Pakistan.

Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor went on to say that no one should have doubt on Pakistan’s defence capabilities.

The ISPR DG said that the ties with India could improve after the elections, adding that New Delhi has been giving statements for political objectives and forthcoming elections.

Tehreek-e-Labbaik leaders gave statements against the state and were now in state’s custody, Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor said and added action will be taken according to the law.
