Maulana Tariq Jamil salutes PM Imran Khan
Jamil said that Khan is the first leader who announced to form the welfare state of Medina.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Renowned religious scholar Maulana Tariq Jamil presented salute to Prime Minister Imran Khan for giving the concept of state of Medina.
While addressing a symposium hosted in Supreme Court (SC) on population control, Jamil said that Khan is the first leader who announced to form the welfare state of Medina.
He asserted that major reasons behind increasing population are ‘ignorance’ and ‘poverty’.
“Social pressure is also another reason. Allah has given knowledge to man for understanding and thinking,” maintained the scholar. Good and bad intentions of the leaders affect the country, added Maulana Tariq Jamil.
“The main ingredients of a welfare state are justice, action and economy,” he explained.
Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan and Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar are also attending the symposium.
According to details, matters regarding new demographic realities of Pakistan, family planning, mother and child’s health and advocacy campaign for population planning in the country were discussed in the event.
Provincial chief ministers, judges of SC, ministers and other officials including Azad Jammu, Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider legal fraternity, experts and government officials also attended the conference.
