Sheikhupura: Oil tanker catches fire after hit by trailer, driver killed
Fire brigade and rescue 1122 teams reached the spot and brought the blaze under control.
SHEIKHUPURA (Dunya News) – A rashly driven trailer collided with an oil tanker near Mandyali Toll Plaza near Sheikhupura on Wednesday after which the oil tanker caught fire which also engulfed the toll plaza building.
The driver of the oil tanker was burnt alive in the accident while four persons sitting in the toll plaza both received burn injuries.
Police reached the spot and blocked the road for all kind of traffic as precautionary measure. Eight fire brigade and rescue 1122 vehicles from Lahore and Sheikhupura reached the spot and brought the blaze under control after a hectic effort of two hours.
