PM Imran presides over federal cabinet meeting

Finance Minister (FM) Asad Umar will brief the cabinet members regarding negotiations with the IMF.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Prime Minister Imran Khan is chairing the federal cabinet meeting at the PM secretariat on Thursday to review political and economic situation in the country.

The members deliberated over a 12-point agenda. Finance Minister (FM) Asad Umar briefed the cabinet members regarding negotiations with the International Monetary Fund (IMF). Ministers and advisers presented report about progress of the respective ministry during the meeting.

The cabinet reviewed progress of 100-day plan of the government. The meeting decided about separating institutions and corporations from ministries and making a separate company for them.

Prime Minister Imran Khan took the cabinet members into confidence about his upcoming visit to Malaysia. He also reviewed the implementation of the decisions taken by the federal cabinet so far.
