Boiler explosion kills six labourers in Karachi
At least six labourers were killed and one was wounded when boiler of a factory exploded in Karachi.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – At least six labourers were killed and one other was wounded when boiler of a factory exploded in Karachi on Wednesday, Dunya News reported.
According to details, boiler of an auto parts factory situated near Landhi Manzil Pump exploded as a result seven persons received severe burn injuries. Rescue teams shifted the injured to Civil Hospital Karachi where six of them died during treatment.
The deceased were identified as Amir, Saleem, Shadman, Imran, Khalid and Anayat. Police sources said that the bodies of the deceased have been handed over to their heirs.
Meanwhile, SSP Malir Irfan Bahadur informed media that if the heirs of deceased filed a case then police will start investigation of the incident.
