ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Former president and Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardar on Monday said that the ministers and officers were upset with the strict laws of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
Addressing a ceremony, he said that efforts were underway to trap him, adding that he would himself go, if he has to go to jail.
The former president said that he was imprisoned in the past on political basis.
The rupee has declined during the tenure of incumbent government, he said and added the PPP government had started record development programs.
The mission of martyred Benazir Bhutto will continue, he added.
