Kashmir was never part of India: FM Qureshi
Qureshi said Kashmir movement has gained new momentum which won't go in vain.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said Thursday Pakistan will continue to show its diplomatic and moral support for Kashmiris’ right to self-determination at all relevant international forums.
Addressing a seminar in Islamabad, Qureshi said Kashmir is an imporant part of Pakistan’s foreign policy and the whole nation irrespective of political differences is united on the issue.
He said Nawabzada Nasarullah Khan played an imporant role to uphold Kashmir cause, adding that the role of Qazi Hussain Ahmed Marhoom is also laudable.
The foreign minister said Kashmir was never a part of India and three wars have been fought over the issue, adding that the movement has gained new momentum which won’t go in vain.
