Federal and provincial ministers are displeased with PTI, here is why
Internal clash in PTI might be on air as ministers believe they are denied resources.
(Web Desk) – Prime Minister Imran Khan always talked of corruption and methods to eradicate it. His pre-victory speeches are filled with claims to make changes which will impact the economy of the country positively. A step towards that direction seems to be forming in the upcoming days as he has decided to form committee that will overview the performance of provincial as well as federal ministries. It (the committee) will present its monthly report to PM.

Yasin Malik in his report explores the concerns of ministers who are apprehensive concerning the absence of protocols and other luxuries. Making matters worse for them, Imran Khan has also abolished the discretionary fund which at least could have been used to gain favor in their respective constituencies. In various personal gatherings, they have expressed their anxieties and believe the era of opposition was better than this one.
The committee which is supposed to be formed to make ministers accountable for their performance should not meet the same fate as KP Accountability bureau which was established ambitiously but the provincial government of PTI could not retain it for a longer period.
The ministers have to put all their efforts to ensure their utmost performance. If the performance is lower than the expected yardstick, the minister might have to forsake his ministry. Some of the ministers are even considering resigning and it is highly predictable that in the coming days, things will get worse and PTI might have to face internal stifle.
Imran Khan has, at multiple times, stated his views to tackle the ills clutching the government departments and politicians. Though Imran Khan’s agenda seems to more close to the lives of common men, but his government is yet to perform miracles as promised by him pre-general elections. If PTI fulfills promises it made with the masses, like construction of 5 million houses, creation of 10 million jobs, it will be tantamount to performing miracles.

Fate of the committee
The committee which is supposed to be formed to make ministers accountable for their performance should not meet the same fate as KP Accountability bureau which was established ambitiously but the provincial government of PTI could not retain it for a longer period. Free and impartial justice should be delivered at any level of government, only then ministers’ performance will improve and sluggish stakeholders will be deterred.
