This is how our rulers enjoy the lavish living and luxurious amenities inside this grand edifice.

(WebDesk) – Pakistan is on the verge to face many difficulties and confrontations on different fronts of diverse sorts of complicated issues and impediments hindered in the development and prosperity of Pakistan and the people of Pakistan.

Anchorperson of Dunya News Wajahat Khan and his team ‘Mahaaz’ were invited to visit the Prime Minister House and cover the premises of Prime Minister House to let people know how the former rulers in Pakistan were enjoyed the lavish living and luxurious amenities inside the grand and opulent edifice of Prime Minister House located at the heart of the most beautiful city of Pakistan – established by the former military ruler and President General Ayub Khan – Islamabad.

Prime Minister Imran Khan in his very first address to the nation announced that he would not stay at the luxurious and sumptuous building of Prime Minister House and to promote his ‘austerity drive ‘ would rather live at the military secretary house – located at the small portion amid the wide and large premises of Prime Minister House. However, a large area of the Prime Minister House is still in the use of Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan because most of the area of Prime Minister House is spread over the secretariat part which is the hub of official activities of Prime Minister and officials.

Mahaaz reached to PM House to cover not only the interior and premises of the magnificent and splendid building belongs to the Chief Executive of the country but also to get an insight of the expenses, purpose and scope of the landmark.

Let’s take you through the different premises inside the Prime Minister House of Pakistan.


Prime Minister Office Wing

Prime Minister office wing consists of Office to the Prime Minister which also has a special meeting corner of PM with guests along with other ministers, many galleries decorated with the portraits of first Prime Minister of Pakistan Shaheed Liaquat Ali Khan and Pakistan’s first Governor General and Father of the Nation Quaid-d-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, an office to the principal secretary of the Prime Minister House and a separate place or the waiting room for the press meet and others, the press media hall, conference rooms, guest rooms, banquets for the guests and bewly constructed cabinet meeting room.

Former Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif was the first occupant of the Prime Minister Office in early 90s, later it was used by the former Premier Benazir Bhutto. After the former General Pervaiz Musharraf has taken the reign into his hands after extricating the government of Nawaz Sharif, the PM Office was being used as his camp house though he mostly spent his time in GHQ. After which, the office was remained in use of the former Premiers Zafarullah Khan Jamali, Shaukat Aziz, Chaudhary Shujat Hussain, Yousuf Raza Gillani, Raja Pervaiz Ashraf and the last occupant of the Office is Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif. Former Prime Minister Malik Mairaj and Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, both have chosen not to use the live in PM House and to use PM office.

Office of the principal secretary to the PM

The Prime Minister s Office (also referred to as PMO) is the principle workplace of the Prime Minister of Pakistan. The PMO is the headed by the Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister of Pakistan, currently Muhammad Azam Khan. Former secretary to the former PM Nawaz Sharid was Fawad Khan Fawad who was considered the powerful and potential official during the tenure of Nawaz Sharif led former government.

Initially, the PMO was referred to as the Prime Minister Secretariat until it was renamed by former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in 2013.

A board inscribed the names of the former Principal secretaries of former Premiers in ofice of the Secretary.


Galleries

The broad and long galleries of Prime Minister House are delightfully decorated with large Vases and enormous furniture and giant chandeliers.

A gallery outside the PM office has portraits of First PM Liaquat Ali and Quaid-e-Azam.


Some of the galleries were embellished with paintings of the former Mughal rulers and great warriors of Sub Continent.



Prime Minister Conference Hall

Prime Minister House has a specifically purposed conference hall in Prime Minister House where PM can address a large number of gatherings. Again, the oversize area dedicated to the room is furnished with the epic furnishings, huge chandeliers and expensive furniture. The room hosted countless times COAS, DG ISI and other armed forces officials in the meetings of National Security Cabinet Council. Anchor Wajahat told that it is the room where the tension of ‘Dawn Leaks’ was simmered.


A Newly constructed Cabinet Meeting Room

According to the Dunya News Anchorperson Wajahat Khan a newly constructed conference room with gold plated with exclusive stuff and great interior was established during the last tenure of the former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to hold the cabinet meetings specifically.


Military Secretary Office

A military secretary office was there of which the anchorperson Wajahat told - was in the use of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif  daughter Maryam Nawaz as the media monitoring cell.


Press Auditorium

A huge press gallery is also present in the basement -  meant to address the media which the anchorperson told to remain unoccupied by the media persons as no Prime Minister ever called the media to answer their concerns in the premises of Prime Minister House. Though, the press meet occurred here when the foreign delegations visited - addressed to the media.

Prime Minsiter Imran Khan in his first speech to the nation promised to convert the Prime Minister House into the Post-Grad University where halls like these can serve as lecture halls.


Guest Rooms

For different status of guests, Prime Minister House has special guest rooms for state guests.


Banquet for the State Guests

The magnificent interior of banquet for the international state guests inside the Prime Minister House is splendid, spacious and can accommodate a large number of persons including media and others. Anchorperson Wajahat Khan while showing the grand dining room inside the Primie Minister House shared his experience when one he along with other media persons were present at the dinner with an Iranian delegation visited to former PM Nawaz Sharif.


Pantry

A large scale pantry was also there to make tea, coffee and refreshment stuff for the residents of the Prime Minister House, the employees, servants, guests, government officials visiting and others equipped with the only elevator of the PM house.


A large Scale Kitchen

A large scale Kitchen has experienced chefs to make food for the residents, visiting guests and others of the Prime Minister House. Wajahat was told that neither the former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif nor the incumbent Premier Imran Khan lunch at the PM house.


Prime Minister Family Wing

The Prime Minister House has a five room dedicated residence particularly for the living of the first family of Prime Minister of Pakistan. The residence of Premier’s family comprises of three bedrooms including Master Bedroom and two others with fully furnished attached baths, Drawing and dining rooms, a small kitchen and a small area setup for children outside the house in a green part of the Prime Minister House.

PM house is also furnished with the finest stuff, magnificent paintings and glittering chandeliers and others. The portrays of former Prime Ministers of Pakistan are also aligned in a row in a gallery of the Prime Minister House where the incumbent Premier is not interest to hang his portray.


Prime Minister House is located at the mammoth premises of 1100 kanals, have 524 servants and a fleet of automobiles and helicopters with helipads are there to serve the Prime Minister House, his family, employees, government and international dignitaries, delegations and state guests.

A property of 1100 kanals of Prime Minister House also has a grand swimming pool, a swana, a squash court, a tennis court, a gym, a mini zoo for pets, a mini petrol pump to fuel the protocol vehicles and a grand parking lot for the automobiles. A special designated part is comprised of the helipad parked with the helicopters used by the Premier and his official state guests and delegations.

Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had pet eight buffaloes to provide daily the fresh dairy.

In a latest tweet by the advisor to PM Naeem ul Haq said that along with the large fleet of 102 expensive and luxurious vehicles and those eight buffaloes and four helicopters are being auctioned in a bid to promote the austerity drive announced by the present Prime Minister Imran Khan.

The automobiles to be auctioned include Maybeth, different models of BMW Mercedes, Lamborghini and other many models.

Not only the Prime Minister House – all the state institutions are the visage of spendthrift and extravagant living where leaders of the state are enjoying a luxurious and lavish life full of amenities and plentiful facilities.

Due to security reasons, Team Mahaaz has neither been given access nor the budget of the present abode of the new Prime Minister living in the military secretary house inside the same grand property spread over the land of 1100 kanals – The PrimeMinister House of Pakistan.
