ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) and its allies on Monday boycotted and walked out from the joint session of the parliament citing govt’s impudent behaviour.

As per details garnered, the lawmakers of the PML-N started making ruckus as soon as Presidnet Alvi began addressing the joint session of the parliament. PML-N’s Sardar Ayaz Sadiq—former speaker of the National Assembly (NA)—attempted to raise issue of rigging in GE 2018 but he was barred by incumbent NA speaker.

Upon this, a pandemonium erupted in the House and PML-N along with its allies walked out of the joint session.

Later, Khawaja Asif shifted the blame of the boycott on govt. He reiterated to raise issue of alleged rigging in GE 2018 in the House tomorrow.

“Govt had assured constitution of commission aimed at probing rigging in the 2018 polls but the demand has not been met yet”, stated Asif.
