Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar Sunday said over 4,000 citizens visited the Governor House Lahore on the first day of its opening for general public.The people were the real owner of such buildings and the initiative taken on the instructions of Prime Minister Imran Khan was aimed at telling the general public of lavish lifestyle of the past rulers who resided there, he said talking to media persons here at the Governor House.
It is welcoming that thousands of people headed to see the grand and opulent building of Governor House in Lahore and spent quality time with family and friends. On the other hand, it is also a grievance that the same number of people visited the Governr House became a reason of mess and untidiness in the premises of the great architectural and landmark place which not only has a historial importance also still holds signifiacance as an official government building.
People are required to realized that this landmark property belongs to them and they are need to take responsibility of the cleanliness and care of the places of their pleasure and entertainment.
