The historic building will remain open from 10am to 6pm.

MURREE (Dunya News) – Following in on its promise of opening state buildings to allow public access, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government in Punjab opened the doors of the Governor’s House in Murree to the people.

Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar reached Muree Sunday on the directives of Prime Minister Imran Khan and announced to open the historic building to the public.

Citizens will be able to have a firsthand experience of the glorious history, treasured artefacts, and lush green gardens of the Governor’s House from 10am to 6pm.

“The people made it possible for PTI to reach the power corridors and now the party will provide access to state buildings,” said the Punjab governor.

PTI had already set a precedent when it opened the doors of Sindh Governor House to the public on September 7. Sindh Governor Imran Ismail himself greeted the people.

“Imran Khan will soon visit Karachi. All the political parties should work together for the development of the city. The undergoing projects in Karachi will be completed shortly,” he said.
