Summary Shah drew ire on social media from all walks of life.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has not suspended membership of its Sindh MPA Imran Shah, clarified party leader Ali Zaidi in a presser.
Zaidi further added party’s disciplinary committee has only issued notice to Shah over physically assaulting a local citizen on Karachi’s busy thoroughfare. He went on to say that party would give Shah equal opportunity to defend himself.
Shah drew ire on social media from all walks of life after video of him brutally slapping an old man along with his guards went viral on social media. Shah subsequently issued an explanatory video on his social media account apologizing for ‘hurting feelings’.
Shah has been elected MPA from Karachi s PS-129 constituency.
