Rana Tanveer says opposition is united

LAHORE (Dunya News) – A meeting of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) was held at the residence of former Punjab CM and PML-N president Shahbaz Sharif in Lahore to discuss future political strategy and formation of government in Punjab.

The meeting was attended by senior opposition leaders including Syed Khurshid Shah, Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Khawaja Saad Rafique and others.

The meeting which continued for two hours reviewed the number gamne in Punjab and center and also discussed future political strategy and formation of government in Punjab.

The meeting also took deicions pertaining to nominations of Punjab CM, speaker, deputy speaker and other key slots.

Talking to media, former federal minister Rana Tanveer said that the opposition is united.

Responding to a question regarding instructions of not forming government in Punjab by former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, he said that he is not aware of any such instrction.
