KARACHI (Dunya News) – The top brass of Pakistan Peoples Party has on Saturday expressed full confidence in administrational skills of Murad Ali Shah as latter has been nominated again for the post of Sindh Chief Minister (CM).

As per details garnered, PPP’s Bilawal Bhutto Zardari presided over the consultative huddle of PPP’s parliamentary committee in Karachi today.

The leadership of PPP has also decided to nominate Agha Siraj Durrani for slot of Sindh Assembly’s speaker and Rehana Leghari for the slot of Sindh Assembly’s deputy speaker.

Sindh Assembly’s session has been convened on August 13. Speaking to media after meeting, Nasir Hussain Shah stated Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has made it overtly clear on all that there would no compromise on performance. He further added that PPP will hold talks with all other parties. On separate province, Shah added that opposition has to retreat from the demand of new unit.

On the other hand, MQM-P on suffered a major blow in Sindh as GDA withdrew their support for former’s nominee as opposition leader in Sindh Assembly (SA).

As per details garnered, GDA have put their weight behind Imran Khan-led PTI for the same cause.

Sources privy to GDA told that party has taken decision as PTI has emerged second largest party in the province after Bilawal-led Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).

In General Elections 2018, PPP has secured two-third majority in Sindh after securing victory on 76 seats. It is followed by cricketer-turned-politician’s Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf with 23 seats. A revamped Muttahida Qaumai Movement Pakistan (MQM-P) managed to secure only 16 seats while Grand Democratic Alliance secured victory on two seats.
