Patriotism across Pakistan on the rise ahead of Independence Day

In this August, Pakistan will get a new government with which nation attaches high hopes.

(Web Desk) – The month of August has huge significance for the entire nation. August 14 is celebrated as the most revered day as during this month in 1947 Muslims of India became successful in gaining freedom they long desired. Pakistanis of the contemporary age cannot forget the sacrifices that their forefathers rendered for the country they are living in; therefore, ahead of Independence Day zeal and pep among people is quite evident.

Just like other cities around the country, people in Gujranwala are shopping to celebrate Independence day. When asked about their sentiments one of the buyers said, “I am here to buy green shirt; I want to take them to home and want children to know the importance of Pakistan.” Another said, “We are here to buy flags because we want to decorate our house.”

A shopkeeper said, “People come here to buy green badges, shirts, flags, and everything that is related to Pakistani and his history.”

Although Pakistan has been suffering from a lot of issues, its residents never let the country down on any ground. Masses are quite resilient on the face of difficulties. Every year the day 14th of August, discovers the love and tenderness people have for this great land. It has been more than seven decades that people have been rejoicing this day by buying green flags, caps, hand bands, and what not and decorating their homes, coloring it green.

Pakistanis always enjoyed Independence Day with passion

Most important of all, people get out of their homes; they even used to be out when Pakistan was in the clutches of gruesome terrorism. The roads and streets on this jubilant day are inundated to the extent that smooth flow of traffic becomes challenging. It is as if nation is celebrating Eid or general election is underway. Nation hopes that the new government of PTI, which is to start function near August 14, will bring real change in their life, and the coming freedom days will be joyed under happiness and development.
