PTI suggests to make Pervez Elahi speaker Punjab Assembly
Elahi had already announced to retain seat of Punjab Assembly.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Tuesday has suggested to make leader of Pakistan Muslim league-Quaid (PML-Q) Chaudhry Pervez Elahi as speaker of Punjab Assembly.
Elahi had already announced to retain seat of Punjab Assembly while he would relinquish both seats of National Assembly.
During a meeting in Bani Gala, he pledged support to him PTI Chief Imran Khan in Punjab and overtly rejected the stance that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) enjoys majority in the province.

He went on to say that he had never practiced politics of blackmailing and would never do so in the future.
On the other hand, PTI has claimed to have gained support of 180 MPAs-elect. However, the final decision regarding Punjab rule will be taken by Imran Khan soon.
