ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – In a latest blow to ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), three more people have announced to join Imran Khan-led Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

According to details, former member provincial assembly Raheela Yahya Munawar, former adviser Yahya Munawar and Member National Assembly (MNA) Rana Umer Nazir from Gujranwala announced to join PTI.

They joined PTI after meeting party chairman Imran Khan in Bani Gala today.

Earlier, PML-N lawmakers from South Punjab, who recently parted ways with the ruling party, joined the PTI.

The Junoobi Punjab Suba Mahaaz (JPSM) leaders announced their decision to join Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf during a press conference along with PTI chairman Imran Khan.

Prior to the press conference, JPSM leaders including Balkh Sher Mazari, Khusro Bakhtiyar, Nasrallah Dreshak, Tahir Bashir among others, met with Imran Khan and party leaders Jahangir Tareen and Fawad Chaudhry.

Speaking during the meeting, the PTI chief supported the JPSM leaders’ struggle for a separate south Punjab province saying that the people of the region deserve to be provided their due rights.

The two parties also signed an agreement titled ‘Yadaasht’ to create a separate south Punjab province, while PTI also recognised the services of the JPSM leaders for the cause.
