JI leader Innayatullah said that today is a historic day

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Longtime allies Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Jamaat-e-Islami have on Thursday parted ways ahead of the 2018 general elections.

Addressing a press conference along with Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) leader Innayatullah, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervaiz Khattak on Thursday said that the two parties had been in alliance for the last five years but were now parting ways with mutual consent.

Speaking on the occasion, JI leader Innayatullah said that today is a historic day as the PTI, and JI have made base of a strong tradition.

He said that they will support the provincial government at every forum.
