PLRA DG suspended over misconduct with female staffers
CJP also instructed chief secretary to ensure implementation of courts order.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Saqib Nisar on Saturday suspended Punjab Land Record Authority (PLRA) director general (DG) Capt (rtd) Zafar as women employees lodged myriad complaints.
As per details garnered, women employees of PLRA lodged complaints to CJP pertaining to alleged misbehavior of PLRA DG with female staffers. Responding to this, CJP suspended him with immediate effect while remarking that those who did talk with women had no right to remain in power.
CJP also instructed chief secretary to ensure implementation of court’s order.
CJP also suspended notification pertaining to illegal transfer of Iram Shehzadi to another district while warning at the same time that he would not compromise on discipline. CJP instructed employees to end strike.
