PTI MNA Nasir Khan Khattak joins JUI-F
Nasir Khan Khattak was elected to National Assembly as a candidate of PTI
KOHAT (Dunya News) – In yet another major setback, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and Member National Assembly (MNA) on Thursday quit party and joinned Jamaat Ulema-e-Islam-Functional (JUI-F).
According to Dunya News, PTI MNA Nasir Khan made the announcement of joining the JUI-F hours after three others joined PPP.
Nasir Khan Khattak was elected to the National Assembly as a candidate of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf from Constituency NA-15 (Karak) in general election, 2013. He received 51,481 votes and defeated a candidate of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
Earlier, three PTI members of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly had joined the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP).
Three PTI MPAs – Zahid Durrani, Ubaid Mayar and Nagina Khan made the announcement of joining the PPP after a meeting with PPP Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari.
It may be mentiond that the three MPAs are accused of horse-trading in Senate elections. Howerver, all of them have vehemently rejected the allegations levelled against them by PTI.
