LAHORE (Dunya News) – A 23-year-old Sikh pilgrim, who came to Pakistan to celebrate Baisakhi festival, has gone missing.

Authorities have also launched efforts to locate the Sikh pilgrim, indentified as Amarjit Singh, a resident of Amritsar, India.

According to sources, Amarjit Singh came to Pakistan on April 12 with other pilgrims, but went missing.

The Foreign Office has also confirmed that the Sikh pilgrim has gone missing, while the Evacuee Trust Property Board officials have launched efforts to trace him.

The Evacuee Trust Property Board has forwarded the information to the higher authorities and an investigation is underway to locate the 23-year-old.

His mother said that she was waiting for his son but he did not return. Amarjit Singh had returned from Malaysia few days ago.
