209th Corps Commanders' Conference chaired by COAS held at GHQ

RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Tuesday chaired the 209th Corps Commanders  Conference at General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi, media cell of Pakistan Army informed.

ISPR said, “209th Corps Commanders  Conference chaired by COAS held at GHQ.”

Both internal and external security environment came under discussion at the conference. The military leadership overviewed the ongoing anti-terrorism operations.

Also, they discussed peace process and stability in Balochistan, and exchanged opinion on the Khushal Balochistan program.

“The forum discussed internal and external security environment and progress of ongoing operations including Khushal Balochistan program. Forum pledged to carry forward the achieved successes to enduring peace and stability in the country,” ISPR release said.



Gen Bajwa said on a two-day visit to Balochistan that the people of the province would get their rights as he inaugurated several development projects. He was accompanied by Balochistan Chief Minister (CM) Abdul Quddus Bizenjo and Commander of Southern Command Asim Saleem Bajwa.
