People of Balochistan will get due rights: Army Chief

General Bajwa is on a two-day visit to Balochistan, that concluded today.

RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa has vowed on Monday that the people of Balochistan province would get their rights.

General Bajwa is on a two-day visit to Balochistan and he inaugurated several development projects today, on the second day. He was accompanied by Balochistan Chief Minister (CM) Abdul Quddus Bizenjo and Commander of Southern Command Asim Saleem Bajwa.

While addressing a cerermony, Army Chief said that realization of dream of provision of basic facilities and peace in Balochistan is underway. While appreciating joint efforts of the civil administration and the forces, General Bajwa said that only a national resolve could make Pakistan achieve stability and progress in Balochistan.

He asserted that the people of Balochistan would get their due rights under Khushhaal Balochistan Programme.

Army Chief laid foundation stone of Cadet College Awaran in Awaran District of Balochistan province and performed groundbreaking of Turbat-Bauleda Road.

Media cell of the military reported that Awaran cadet college would train as many as 800 cadets initially and at least 300 cadets would be provided with boarding facility.
