SHC annuls Sindh government's decision to re-conduct NTS test

At least 150 students and their parents submitted a petition against Sindh government's decision.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Sindh High Court (SHC) on Tuesday while directing to retain previous results annulled the decision of the provincial government to re-conduct NTS test.

Sindh government had directed the administration of the Dow University Health Sciences (DUHS) to conduct the entry test again following the allegations of irregularities in the earlier examination.

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah formed a five-member committee who recommended to cancel the results.

Subsequently, at least 150 students and their parents submitted a petition against Sindh government’s decision in SHC adopting stance that why they have to re-appear in the test when they have already passed it.

The court after hearing the arguments in the case announced the decision in favour of the students.

Delighted students while welcoming the verdict of the court distributed sweets. The students said that they will work hard and will serve the country by becoming a doctor.
