Interior Ministry removes Dr Asim's name from ECL
SC's decision was implemented by the Interior Ministry
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Notification announcing removal of Dr Asim’s name from Exit Control List (ECL) has been issued by Interior Ministry.
Dr Asim had submitted a petition calling for removal of his name from ECL so he could travel to another country. Supreme Court had accepted the petition and ordered that his name be removed from ECL.
Interior Ministry implemented the apex court’s decision and removed Dr Asim’s name from ECL for one month.
