Smog has once again started digging its claws in the city of Lahore and poses dangers to the health
(Web Desk) – Over the past 24 hours Lahore has begun to be engulfed in a blanket of thick polluted fog - smog. The city saw a similar situation last year with close to zero visibility on roads and air laden with pollutants causing eye and respiratory infections.
Smog, which is a result of construction work, burning of waste and factories smoke is a major threat to the health of citizens.
But while government departments should take measures to address this, the responsibility also lies with the citizens.
