Army Chief pins Colonel Commandant badge on Gen Zahid Hameed
ISPR said General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited Army Medical Center in Abbottabad on Thursday
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – During the visit to Army Medical Center in Abbottabad on Thursday, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa pinned Colonel Commandant badge on General Zahid Hameed.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Gen Bajwa lauded the role of Army Medical Corps and paid a tribute to them for saving so many lives. He praised the officers and young soldiers for their consistent services.
Army Chief presented floral wreath on Yadgar-e-Shuhda and prayed Surah-e-Fatiha.
Later on, a ceremony was held in to Army Medical Center to pin Colonel Commandant badge on General Zahid Hameed. Colonel Commandant Lieutenant General Mumtaz Sukhera was also present at the ceremony.
