Farooq Amjad Mir parts ways with PTI
Former president of PTI Punjab resigned from his party membership in protest of 'wrong policies'
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Farooq Amjad Mir officially resigned and ended his party membership reasoning wrong policies by the senior leadership.
PTI Punjab former president believes that the party has become victim of wrong people and their wrong policies. Mir added that he left the party as a protest with senior leadership so that they can review their mistakes.
He sent his resignation letter to PTI Chairman Imran Khan and informed him about the reason of his exit. "PTI is only working to attain power and deviating from its rules," Mir told.
With the nearing of 2018 general elections, several leaders have either joined or exited PTI. Their alliance for Opposition Leader with MQM-P is also surprising for a number of political analysts. The party has strongly rejected Election Reforms Bill 2017 approval from both parliament houses.
